This ring which cause bad thing to happen to whoever own it. Time goes on. Ulagu falls in love with Annamalai (Neena). The ring is passed to Annamalai. Atchi too support this relationship coz she wants both family to unite after the marriage of Ulagu’s and Annamalai. On other hand Shanthi too met with Ulagu.

Ulagu often tease Shanthi which made shanti to fall in love with Ulagu. When Ghandhimathi find out about Ulagu and Annu(Annamalai) relationship she locks herself in a room and only allows Bargavi in.

Whatever happened inside is kept mysterious for almost a month. Time goes on. Pattu met with accident (effect of the ring worn by Annu) and is send to hospital by our Ulagu. While praying for Pattu’s health, Atchi didn’t eat and finally she dies. Before she dies she asks Thavasi to unite Annu with Ulagu.

She also tells him about Thanggam. Later Thavasi act as he hates Ulagu so that Pattu will accept him. This somehow send wrong message to Ulagu. Ulagu thought Thavasi is against the marriage. Somehow all of them (except Nalasivam) agree for the marriage.

Shanthi becomes angry when she found out about the wedding arrangement. She challenged Annu that she will stop the marriage and will marry Ulagu. Gomathy try all the way to stop the wedding but not successful.

Chittan ask Kanganiyar to tell Thavasi not to make any promise for the sake of wedding. Chittan predicts that all will suffer is a promise is made by Thavasi.

Kanganiyar repeatedly warn Thavasi about Chittan’s wording. Thavasi sees Ghandhimathi at her room to talk about Ulagu and Annu’s wedding. Ghandhimathi agrees on one condition that the temple is given to Annu. Thavasi agrees and he kept it secret from anyone’s knowledge. Annu gives the ring to Visalam.

Visalam keep the ring in her cupboard. Nallu isn’t happy for the wedding so he kept himself away from the wedding arrangement. The wedding is fixed on the same day of the temple’s “Sangu Thriruvizha”. On that day, Bandha, Nalsivam, Ulagu, Chitaphu and a few other people dive to collect the Sangu.

Suddenly there was blood everywhere and Bandha is killed. Somehow Thavasi didn’t allow the wedding to stop. Neena Annamalai and SPB Charan Ulagu were sitting on the manavarai when the music “Annnnamalai” came in and Neena turn into Radhika and SPB Charan turn into Syam Ganesh!
